Drawing inspiration from Breguet’s work, the tourbillon remains at the heart of Roth’s brand revival. The modern iteration of the Daniel Roth Tourbillon made waves – winning the Tourbillon Watch Prize at the Grand Prix de L’Horlogerie de Genève 2024. Conceived exclusively for Daniel Roth, the new in-house manufacture caliber DR001 is manufactured entirely by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton under the supervision of Master Watchmakers Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini, and is hand-finished to perfection. The rose gold dial features a guilloché en ligne design, meticulously crafted by Kari Voutilainen’s Comblemine dial workshop. A hallmark of Roth’s design, the offset tourbillon cage features a three-armed seconds hand, read alongside a tri-sectioned scale on the dial. The open caseback — an enhancement from the Souscription model — reveals the caliber DR001 in all its glory, with black polish on the curved bridge contrasting beautifully with Côtes de Genève on the larger plates — creating a stunning play on light.Read More
