The IWC Big Pilot’s Watch AMG G 63 (ref. IW501201) brings together high watchmaking and high performance in a 2021 collaboration with Mercedes-AMG. The distinctive Black dial – textured to mirror the Panamericana grille and air intakes of AMG vehicles – offers a commanding presence that echoes the muscular aesthetic of its automotive namesake.

Crafted in 46mm of Armor Gold, IWC’s proprietary alloy with increased hardness and enhanced warm lustre, the case is paired with a matching gold crown and the Big Pilot’s signature overlarge proportions. Powering the watch is IWC’s in-house calibre 52010, equipped with twin barrels and delivering a 7-day power reserve. A soft-iron inner case provides magnetic resistance, while water-resistance is rated to 60m. The design is anchored by a black rubber strap with microfiber inlay, adding both comfort and performance edge.
