About the Model
Introduced in 2021, the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight 925 is a timepiece that caught collectors by surprise when it was announced. The watch gets its name from the sterling silver case that the watch uses. This is a first for Tudor (and by extension, Rolex as well) and provides a unique offering on the market for a diving watch. Paired with a taupe dial and bezel, the particularity of this model is that each individual case will develop its own unique and warm patina as years go by. Powered by the Calibre MT5400, this time the movement is visible through a sapphire display caseback and offers a comfortable 70 hours of power reserve. Purchased in 2021, the present example is starting to show some signs of patina on the case and will further enhance the piece even more in the coming years.
