The IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar (ref. IW503302) was introduced in 2015 as part of the 75th anniversary refresh of the iconic Portugieser line. Preserving the aesthetic clarity of earlier models while embracing subtle refinements, this version stands out with its arched sapphire crystal and updated case profile in 18ct red gold. A silver dial with classical Arabic numerals and feuille hands completes the design – understated, yet unmistakably IWC.

Housed in a 44mm red gold case, the IW503302 is powered by the in-house calibre 52610. This automatic movement features IWC’s Pellaton winding system and has twin barrels delivering an impressive 7-day power reserve. The perpetual calendar complication includes displays for the date, day, month, four-digit year, and moonphase – the latter in a traditional single-window layout. The whole mechanism is adjusted via the crown alone. Water resistance is rated to 30m, and the watch is accompanied by a brown Santoni alligator leather strap.
