The IWC Portugieser (ref. IW358310) pairs a historically rooted design with contemporary dimensions, marrying 1930s elegance with modern practicality. Measuring 40mm in diameter, the case houses IWC’s in-house calibre 82200, a self-winding movement featuring a Pellaton winding system and a 60-hour power reserve. The absence of a bezel brings greater emphasis to the dial layout, which maintains the classic Portugieser symmetry: Arabic numerals, a railroad minute track, and a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock. Though formal in aesthetic, the watch remains functional with a water-resistance rating of 30 m.
